Starting a Coffee Business Course

This course is a must for anyone who is on the journey to opening a coffee business. Who is the course for? Regardless of your previous experiences in the workplace, this course is for people who are navigating their way through to opening a coffee shop business. What will I learn? We'll hit the big issues head on and these tend to be money and finance. I'll cover topics such as Place (where to open, leases, layout etc), Processes (how to make your business work, particularly when your not there), Promotion (how to get customers through your door and get them to come back), People (recruiting, training and building a culture), Profit (what should you be spending on staff, how to forecast, how to improve profitability, what are your key financial ratios, what's my breakeven. We'll be talking a lot! Throughout the day we'll make coffee together, discover the roasting processes and focus on the particular challenges you face for your business. What will I take away? All the tools that I use and have developed over the years. All the recommendations that I have as a result of making some howling decisions as well as some great ones too. Most of all, you'll go home with a broader sense of what is to come and you'll feel a whole lot better prepared with the tools and knowledge to make great business decisions. Where is the course? It's in Leicester, centre of the universe, not far from...anywhere really. You'll be joining me at our Roastery and I'll provide lunch! Who will be taking the course?
